The following switches are hand operated, control circuit devices, rated ‘Standard Duty.’ All of the switches have either one normally open or one normally closed (see chart below), slow make - slow break, Momentary contact. The mechanical life of these units is in excess of 500,000 operations. The small body (0.94" dia.) switches can be found as triggering devices on portable welding equipment. The following switches are machine operated, control circuit devices, rated ‘Heavy Duty’ normally for use with electromagnetic equipment. The small bodies are made from die-cast zinc and the cover is sheet steel. The large enclosure is made from die-cast aluminum and powdercoat painted black. The mechanical life of these units is 500,000 operations. These devices can be found on a variety of machinery, used to perform such operations as ‘start’, ‘stop’,‘top stop’, ‘inch’, ‘jog’, ‘on’, ‘off’, ‘forward’, ‘reverse’ etc.
